Second Chances

I had a few reports of guesses not coming through – so if you haven’t had a chance to make your guess, or if your guess didn’t show up, here’s a second chance to take another stab at it!

For those who did submit a guess, your name will show up on the original post under “comments”, but your guess will not be revealed (so the new guessers don’t have an unfair advantage). If you have already submitted a guess, and you would like to submit an updated guess, you are more than welcome to do so as well!

To comment: scroll down to the end of this post, select “comments”, and guess away! Make sure you click the “save comment” button at the bottom after you have typed out your guess :) I will close the guessing at 11:59 PM on 2/23.

And it’s not a post unless there are pics!

Guessing Games…

As most of you know by now, Ashley and I are expecting our first baby – but we don’t know what it is!! :)

So, to get things a little more exciting, we’re going to give away some stuff to whomever can read a crystal ball or just get plain lucky!!

So now, for the details…

I need guesses for the date and time the baby is born. I’ll give hints – Ashley is now 33 weeks along. I’ve included photos for reference and evaluation. :)

We’re going to play this like “The Price is Right” – the closest person to guess without going “over” takes home a gift card. It is possible to win in more than one category, but each person gets just one guess per category.

I have a $15 iTunes gift card for the date and time the baby is born – I’ve got another one for you if you guess the gender correctly!

I also have a $15 iTunes gift card for the baby’s weight, and a $15 iTunes gift card for the baby’s length.

And since not everyone can read a crystal ball (I know I can’t) – here’s to just plain luck:

I’ll put everyone’s name (that submits a guess) into a hat for a free portrait session, complete with a $100 print credit!

To submit your guess, simply use the “comment” section below this post. All guesses must be submitted by 11:59 PM CST on 1/31/2011. (Your “guess” will not show up until February 1, after all entries are submitted – no worries, though – your guess is safe with us!) The gift cards will be awarded shortly after the baby is born!!

I think I’m having a boy on March 1 at 3:03 am that will be 7 lbs 3 oz and 20.5″

I think the baby will be born on the first of march at 2:58 am. the weight will be 6 lbs 11 oz 21 inches long.

I’m so glad you’re waiting to find out! That’s the way to go! My fiance and I already argue about this topic….I say we won’t find out until the baby is born!!! If you were supposed to know, you’d carry a boy on the left and a girl on the right (or some other way that would let you know!) It’s the only true surprise in life!

Hmmm, I am going to guess that the baby will be a girl and be born on Feb 21 at 3:30 p.m. Will be 6 lbs 5 oz and 22 inches long.
